Our Story

PRESERVING OUR HISTORY

Like the Mustard Seed parable, we started with an idea and the financial support of four local churches. People from those churches began a volunteer-based, non-profit organization to support the local community by taking gently used items and turning them into dollars for charitable organizations.

 

Volunteers built a steward-centric nucleus through which the organization’s goal fosters an environment of caretaking, recycling, responsibility, and service to enrich the community.

The time and talents of our volunteers foster an environment that directly contributes to the overall well-being of the community, while making a positive impact on the environment by reducing waste.

We are rooted in the belief that we are responsible for the resources bestowed upon us. We use our abilities to identify opportunities that empower all individuals to strengthen our communities by building relationships, working collaboratively, and inspiring solutions to complex issues.
